Firmaradar.no is built for agentic flow: AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini and others) get first-class MCP access to Norwegian company data via 32 ready-made tools. REST API, web portal and event-driven webhooks are other ways to reach the same data source for systems that do not run an agent stack yet.

Data is fetched directly from Brønnøysundregistrene and updated nightly. Some advanced calls — especially ownership and announcements — may take a little longer than a simple company lookup. This is a deliberate priority: we serve the most up-to-date information from the source rather than returning potentially outdated cached responses.

The date indicates the last known change in the dataset.

Descriptive figures, not an authoritative accounting database

We present key figures and historical headline figures for Norwegian companies — operating revenue, profit, equity and similar measures. The goal is to give a quick picture of a company's finances over time, not to replace a full accounting review.

Where possible, the data is fetched digitally via Brønnøysundregistrene's open API. For older annual accounts not available in digital form we have used machine reading. We have set high verification requirements but still cannot guarantee the accuracy of the historical data. The figures should be regarded as descriptive and not as an authoritative source. Who owns whom?

Find which group parent a company belongs to, see all subsidiaries down the tree, and count how many siblings and levels an entity has.

Owners and shareholdings

Fetch shareholder lists with shareholding, share class and identifier. Supports corporate owners (with org. number) and, after approval, also private individuals.

Complete datasets

Download complete snapshot files for further processing in your own systems — suited for data warehouses, analysis and periodic batching.

The service does not use third-party tracking tools. We collect only what is necessary to deliver and operate the service.
